Walton Parish Nursing is facilitating a Health
Fair on Thursday 27th April at the Trades and Labour Club in Walton,
10.30am to 3.30pm.Many different organisations will be coming together to display their services and answering any questions you may have.
These
include Healthwatch, Basic, The Hope Trust, the Community Dental
Service, One Life Suffolk, who will providing free health checks, the
Osteoporosis Society, Sensing Change, ActivSuffolk, who will be
demonstrating Kurling and Boccia suitable for all ages and abilities
including wheelchair users, Felixstowe Area Community Transport Scheme,
Safer Seniors Network providing crime reduction advice, the Felixstowe
Listening Service, the Blind Club (E.S.B.A), the Parkinson's Society and
the Local Dementia Action Alliance. There will also be other advisors available to talk to you about housing and mental health related isues.
